A homeowner calls about a leaning tree over the fence line. A lawyer needs a documented condition assessment before a property closing. An insurer wants a risk rating on file before they'll renew a policy. Every one of these starts the same way: walk the site, look at each tree, write down what you see.
Load the property survey or plot plan into LogLog before you leave the office. On site, tap each tree's position on the plan, then record species, DBH, condition, and whatever risk or preservation fields the job calls for. Snap a photo of anything notable — a wound, dieback, included bark. That tree's record is done. Move to the next one.
Risk assessment, TRAQ-adjacent
LogLog's risk group — failure likelihood, failure consequence, an overall rating from low to extreme, a target description, mitigation notes, and a reinspect date — uses the same vocabulary TRAQ-qualified arborists already work in. It's not a substitute for a certified TRAQ assessment methodology; it's a place to record the observations that assessment produces, in the field, next to the tree.

A dated file if a tree ever fails
Part of the job, especially in risk assessment work, is proving a documented inspection happened on a given date with a specific condition on record — the kind of file you want to have ready if a tree later fails and the question of whether it was properly assessed comes up. A LogLog export with photos and condition data, dated at the time of survey, is exactly that record.
What LogLog isn't
LogLog doesn't do invoicing, proposal generation, or client scheduling — if you need those, keep whatever CRM you already run and use LogLog purely for the field survey and export. It also doesn't produce DWG or shapefile output, so if a job requires a CAD handoff, the annotated PDF is your intermediate artifact, not a finished vector file.
