LogLog stores your projects, tree records, and photos locally on your device using your browser's own storage (IndexedDB, with a file-system-level backup layer as a second safety net against the browser evicting that storage). The app is a progressive web app — install it once, and it works with zero network connection for a full field day. No signal in the back forty of a property, no problem.

On Free, that local copy is the only copy. We don't see it, store it on a server, or have any way to read it. Pro (early access, not live yet) will add optional cloud sync — a second copy stored off-device for cross-device access — but the local copy always stays authoritative and always stays yours.

For team accounts, sync happens per-tree, not per-field and not per-project. If two people edit different trees in the same project on different devices, both edits stick. If two people edit the same tree while both are offline, the most recent save wins — the other edit is overwritten. We don't yet show a "someone else changed this" warning when that happens; that's a real gap, not a hidden one, and it's on the near-term list.

We are not building real-time collaborative editing (no Google-Docs-style shared cursors). For the actual workload here — one field day a week, occasional two-person overlap on a big property — last-write-wins per tree is the right amount of complexity, not a corner we cut.

Team accounts share a flat 2GB storage pool per tenant today — that's photos, PDFs, and data combined. There's no separate cap per plan tier; every account gets the same 2GB. Free-tier accounts are limited only by your own device's storage, which for a modern phone is normally not the bottleneck.

One tap produces a ZIP with everything, in formats you can open without LogLog:

• Summary.pdf — cover-sheet PDF summary
• Map_Original_*.pdf — your original uploaded site plan
• Map_Annotated_*.pdf — the plan with tree-number pins stamped on
• images/ — every photo, named by tree number
• manifest.json — counts and what's included

No CSV or Excel import back into LogLog exists yet — this is an export tool, not a two-way sync with your spreadsheet. We'd rather say that plainly than let you find out the hard way.

On Free, there's nothing to cancel — your data is on your device whether or not you ever come back to LogLog. If Pro or Team ever end for you, the same is true: export a ZIP before you go and you have a complete, non-proprietary copy of everything. No format you need our software to open, no feature locked behind continuing to pay.
