Using LogLog

LogLog is an offline-first tree-survey tool for arborists. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use LogLog for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for it.

Accounts and Seats

Keep your account information accurate and your login secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. LogLog is licensed per seat: each person must use their own login, and logins may not be shared. You are responsible for activity by people you authorize to use your account and for managing their access.

Your Data

You own your survey data outright, including tree records, photos, annotations, site-plan PDFs, and project metadata. We do not claim ownership of it. You give us only the limited permission needed to host, copy, transmit, back up, and otherwise process that data to operate, secure, support, and improve the service for you. This permission ends when your data is deleted, apart from copies in the disaster-recovery archive.

You are responsible for the data you upload, for having the right to use it, and for deciding whether LogLog's records and exports are suitable for your professional work. The service does not replace professional judgment or your own record-keeping duties.

Storage Limits

Each account currently includes 2 GB of storage, and each uploaded photo is limited to 20 MB. You must stay within these limits. We will give reasonable notice if we change the storage included with a paid plan.

Acceptable Use

Do not use LogLog to break the law, infringe another person's rights, upload malware, interfere with or probe the service, bypass usage or access limits, access another customer's account, or resell access unless we agree in writing. Do not upload content that you are not allowed to store or share. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to stop misuse, protect the service or other customers, or comply with law.

Payments and Refunds

Paid plans will be billed through our payment processor at the price and billing period shown when you subscribe. The processor, not LogLog, will hold your card details. Taxes, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be shown before paid subscriptions launch and will form part of these terms.

Service Availability

We provide LogLog on a reasonable-efforts basis and do not offer a service-level agreement. Maintenance, faults, and events outside our control may cause interruptions. LogLog's offline-first design means field work cached on your device can continue during most outages, but syncing, login, billing, and team features may be unavailable. No software or storage system is guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free, so keep exports or other backups appropriate to your work.

Ending the Service

You may cancel a subscription or delete your account through the service. Before deleting an account, export anything you want to keep. Account deletion removes the identity-provider record and places tenant data into a 30-day recoverable state. After 30 days, it is permanently purged from the live service, including photos. Copies may remain in the separate append-only disaster-recovery archive as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may terminate an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or if we discontinue the service. Where practical, we will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data. Terms that must logically continue after termination, including ownership and liability terms, will continue.

Liability

LogLog helps record and organize professional field information; it does not make tree safety decisions for you. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, lost business, or losses caused by decisions made from survey data or exports. Our total liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for LogLog in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. If you used LogLog without charge, our total liability will not exceed US$100.

These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including for fraud or deliberate misconduct. Nothing here removes consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Changes

We may update these terms as LogLog evolves. We will notify active users before a significant change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms; if you do not accept them, you may export your data and stop using LogLog.

Governing Law

The governing law and courts for these terms will be the law and courts of the operator's confirmed jurisdiction, except where the mandatory law of your location gives you additional rights.
