What We Collect
LogLog stores the information you and your team add to the service: tree-survey records such as species, measurements, condition and risk notes, and site-plan coordinates; photos; uploaded site-plan PDFs; and project metadata. We also process account information, including your name and email address, and information needed to manage your subscription. Our payment processor handles payment details on our behalf. We never receive or store your full card number.
For reliability and debugging, LogLog sends crash and error reports to our servers. These contain the error message, app version, and tenant ID, but not survey content. We also measure operational usage such as storage and request counts. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
How We Use It
We use this information to provide cloud sync, cross-device access, team features, exports, support, billing, security, and service maintenance. We use error reports and operational metrics to diagnose problems and keep LogLog working. We do not currently run product analytics beyond those operational metrics. If we add privacy-respecting product analytics, we will update this policy and notify users before the change takes effect.
Where Your Data Lives
LogLog is offline-first. Survey data is cached on devices where you use the app in browser-managed storage, including IndexedDB and OPFS, so field work can continue without a connection. Clearing a browser or device may remove that local copy.
Synced structured data is stored in Cloudflare D1, and synced photos and PDFs are stored in Cloudflare R2. Cloudflare operates a global network, so information may be processed in countries other than your own. Account identity is processed by WorkOS. Short-lived signed tokens keep field-device sessions authenticated.
Subprocessors
We use Cloudflare to host the service and store synced data; WorkOS AuthKit to process account email, name, login credentials, and authentication; and our payment processor to process payments and related billing information. The payment processor will be identified here once selected. These providers process information for us only to deliver their part of the service.
Retention and Deletion
Deleting a project moves its synced data, including photos, into a recoverable state for 30 days. After that window it is permanently purged from the live service. Deleting an account removes the identity-provider record and sends all tenant data through the same 30-day purge path. Local copies remain on your devices until you remove them or clear the app's storage.
We maintain a separate append-only backup archive for disaster recovery. Because the archive is append-only, deletion does not immediately remove records already present there. The archive is not used as an active copy of customer data or for any purpose other than disaster recovery.
Your Choices and Rights
The app provides a full self-serve export of your survey data and self-serve project and account deletion. You may also ask us to provide, correct, restrict, or delete personal information, or object to how it is used where applicable. Privacy laws such as the UK GDPR, the Australian Privacy Act, and applicable US state laws may give you these rights. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live, subject to information we must keep for legal or disaster-recovery purposes. Contact us if you need help exercising a right.
Cookies and Local Storage
We do not use advertising cookies. The app uses browser storage by design for offline data and may use strictly necessary authentication and session storage to keep you signed in. Cloudflare Web Analytics gives us aggregate website page views and referrers without cookies or identifying individual visitors.
Security and Breaches
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate for a small software service. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will investigate, take reasonable steps to limit the harm, and notify affected customers and regulators when required by applicable law.
